HKG airbus---6

First come first serve. 5 MD went went in the top 6 one guy took the Bus, picked in seniority order.

I know someone who received this same "possible interview" email a few weeks ago, and as of today he has heard nothing further from FedEx. I guess the new SCP did away with wanting certain folks with certain experience in the MD11?

Makes sense. Perhaps more sense, as FedEx should be able to train anyone they hire to fly the MD11 like they want them to.

So the FDA's are optional? Have there been classes where the only option was an FDA? I didn't think there was too much of a choice involved if that's all that was being offered.

You can not be forced into an FDA. You can be given the choice of FDA or wait until we decide to call you; but that will be when they call and tell you you are hired.
