Got a question- Pilot Credentials "references" section says, in bold, "Only FedEx references should be listed below". Is it acceptable to list a retired FedEx pilot, and if so, how is this reflected? The application asks for an employee number and has a drop down for employer, "retired" is not an option.
Thanks in advance to all you experienced folks who peruse these threads and pass your nuggets of info and insight down to us newbies and wannabes.

I'm not 100% sure, but I had a guy listed, then he retired, and I never removed it. I got an interview. He was a recent retiree, with the year.

On the FedEx application under employment there is a question "Was/Is this a DOT covered position?"
Flying part 91 we are subject to random drug testing, but not sure the full intent of this question and if it applies?
Any insight to this question?

I have wondered the same thing myself. I am part 91 now, but I was 121. I just wan't sure how to answer for the 91 job.

hello all, I have an interview coming up. I am working on a cover letter that I would like to address to the (senior) hiring manager.
I have looked in every direction and searched for a while with no luck.
Short of calling KD, could anybody please PM me and point me in the right direction?
Pretty please, with the cherry on top.
Thanks!

pretty strange request. You've got the interview. Whatever you think you need to say in this letter can be said face to face. Have you done some interview prep with Emerald Coast and run this cover letter idea by them? Bugging KD about that seems like a bad plan. We're hiring like crazy and the general wisdom has always been that once you're offered an interview, the job is yours to lose. I'd recommend you spend your time between now and then preparing to effectively present yourself face to face, bring your A-game and forget the letter. Good luck.
