Don’t know there is a rhyme and/or reason to the employee numbers. The 3-million series are the newest pilots as of a few months ago, and all hiring in the couple-ish years before that was 5-million series. Unless that person had a previous job @ FDX, then they retained their original employee number, which is another kink.

Hard to know pecking order from looking at the actual number. Some kind of HR magic involved, I’m not qualified to explain any of that math.

What I was told was that in the 2014-ish timeframe, big FX decided to allocate employee number blocks to the different divisions, and Express was allocated the 5-million block.

No idea how that has changed this fall back down to the 3-million block

Interesting.. Cause I was talking to a bud (75 LCA) during Sunday departures and he was told similar. And according to him the 3 million crowd are having log in problems and etc because those were suppose to be Ground employee numbers.

How many did we hire in October and when were the classes. Chief pilot said we are hiring 45 in October and I don't think I saw that many

Last October called was cancelled and I think I saw 10-12 in the first October class.

Guys and Girls just a FYI KD say's follow the instruction page that is attached in the Hiring Document tab. Do not use the instructions that were auto emailed to you. There is a vendor problem and the instructions in the email are incorrect. I have posted this here for her.

Recent union email says there's a class of 30 starting next Monday, most class pictures show classes of 15-20 lately - are guys not showing up or are they just running smaller classes? My class was 24, but most I have seen have been smaller lately, just wondering if that is by design?
