Does anyone know if the residency requirement applies to US citizens that were working in the UAE?
I’m former EK and don’t really want to wait 3 more years to apply to FedEx.
I assume the requirement applies, but I’m just hoping there is a loophole.
Thanks

Unless you were there working for the US government (DOS, DOD, etc) it applies. It’s a requirement based on the US Postal service contract background inspections.

There is no longer a requirement to have resided in the US for the last 5 Years. Such requirement have been lifted.

Attrition mostly. We have been in the 4600 pilot range give or take a bit for awhile.

Approximately 10 years ago we went from 3 pilot to 2 pilot airplanes so we needed fewer pilots. Then AGE 65 happened and almost no one retired for 5 years. Those folks that would have retired at 60 are finally starting to retire.
There are too many moving parts to answer your question. It's a good place to work (except for maybe the horrible hours!*?). Throw your hat in the ring ... good luck.
