Fedex pilot TA Roadshows have always been a sales job that highlights the negotiated improvements. They (the NC and MEC) have worked hard to get an agreement, they are tired, they want to process to end.

I'd like to thank them for their hard work. Like always, I'll read the TA and see what they "forgot" to tell us about?

Here's his opening paragraph:

Worse yet, here's the last sentence of his barely literate closing paragraph..the summary, in conventional essay writing...

"I have heard it said a few times in my life that pigs get fed and hogs get slaughtered."

I'm starting to get tired of these guys referring to anyone who doesn't like this TA as Hogs who will get slaughtered...what vegetable came up with that comparison? Versus Pigs being fed? What an insult...

Our own reps referring to us as pigs and hogs....I guess my rep speaks for me...not...


He goes on to whine about being stunned about what he's read etc etc...you gotta read it all you Pigs and hogs

Other things I've heard that supposedly came from the mediator:

To the NC - "You will never be released to self help"

To the company - "If you don't come up with something soon, I'm releasing them to self help"

To both sides: "if we don't have an agreement soon we are taking a 6 month break"


I'm sure there are more quotes from the mediator!

If so then our NC should have immediately requested a new mediator - the one we have is obviously showing bias!

So from speaking to a couple of reps, they have been trying to hold a special meeting but apparently the yes voters are always unavailable, so a quorum can not be established. It is just another way for the powers within to ram rod this down the sheeps throats. I would think our chairman would step up to the plate.
