Let the no guys speak!

They have...and posted their opinions on-line for everyone to read. They will also take the time to speak with you if you call them.
They "Yes" Block reps get the same ability to post Block letters to their own LEC on why they voted the way they did as well.
What else do you want?

There is a big difference in standing at the podium being filmed for youtube, addressing the entire group before they have to get on busses to head back to the hub turn, and being pushed into a back corner after the roadshow is over and the sound guys have turned loud music on to drown out the dissenters from being able to get their opinions out and take questions.

So you would only want to hear from the NO voters of the MEC???
Why? Just curious and not trying to bait you here. The majority of the MEC voted in favor of sending the TA to the pilots. Some of them have also written letters to their block as to why they voted that way.
(Wish the rest would explain why as well).
Now the Negotiating Committee and FDX ALPA have a responsibility to provide all of the details of the T/A to the pilots. Had it failed at the MEC level, then the minority YES voters would be done. You wouldn't hear one word about the details, other than why block reps voted the way they did..maybe.
The block reps don't play in that show or presentation at all. It's not their responsibility, it's the NC and SME's that worked on the language to do that. The Union must present the T/A for ratification. This isn't a presidential debate.
Imagine trying to put 14 of the reps on stage to talk about why they did or didn't vote for the TA?? You wouldn't get out of that roadshow in under 16 hours. A little unrealistic.

It most certainly IS the responsibility of our elected representatives (that's the MEC, not the Negotiating Committee, not the MEC Officers, not any other committee Chairmen or members) to present the TA with all of its bells and whistles AND all of its warts and wrinkles to the membership for their OBJECTIVE consideration. We elected the MEC to work for us, and the MEC selected all of the others to work for them. Why should we now sit back and accept a process where a subset of the elected representatives are shut out from the process of educating us about the TA? It's one of the most important decisions we'll make, having a profound effect not only on our compensation and quality of life in the near term, but also to the complexion of working conditions in the years and decades to come.
Ask yourself this. What are "they" afraid the MEC "NO" voters will tell us? Can we not handle the truth?

Last I checked, being on the losing side of a vote in the democratic process did not mean that your right to express your opinion was then systematically squelched by the other side. I'm pretty sure that the minority leadership in Congress is still allowed to address the chambers and the constituents.
