Here's your break -- you can withdraw your comment and apologize for insulting people you obviously know very little about, and I won't hold it against you.
The guys passing out Vote NO lanyards didn't work an extra day for YEARS, and then only purchased and passed out lanyards AFTER the Committee gave up.

My point was, many weren't willing to do anything to support the union, but then outraged that we got a subpar TA. To support the union, they didn't have to do ANYTHING.... just NOT do one thing.
Tony, your participation in your union far exceeds the normal pilot. Many can't even tell you what block or Council they are in. They don't know the contract at all and aren't willing to educate themselves on it. IMHO our union is only as strong as we make them.

Ummmm... What? You couldn't be more wrong. How did you get that from my post?
You won't find (okay, maybe Tony) a more avid no voter, one who actually read the contract cover to cover, ingested as much video and material, and did my own research and interpretations.
Try again.

Not a thing. But when the Union sells the contract as the best we are going to get, and then the company posts a bid showing how short they are , lets just say we had leverage. Its hard to buy the Union statement that this contract was the best we could have gotten. Wet leasing, vacation buy backs in all seats, adding 200 additional slots to cover peak and expansion. Hey, the company is so worried about pilot trip trading and quality of life, they added 200 more pilots. I won't be wearing a Union lanyard or pin ever again.

Anybody notice that the posting says current the junior MD11 Captain has a 3800ish seniority number? Might be a FO flex? Makes you wonder how ready the IT folks are for this bid, if they can't even pull the correct current crew assignments from the database.
