Default Bid 16-01

Does the company have to train everyone with an award on the previous bid before they train someone in the same category position on bid 16-01?

For example, the B777 has an award with a scheduled training date of 28Jun17.

Does this mean they can't train any FO 777 awards on bid 16-01 until after that date? Or after when that person might be moved up due to some folks not needing 777 training above him/her?

current training letters seem to match up to expected training dates by aircraft in FCIF

On another note, today I am writing a probationary report for my new hire FO I flew with last week. (All glowing--wonderful guy and superior pilot). On today's practice bid he was awarded Memphis 757 captain.

Seen some crazy **** here in 14 years. I've never seen anything like that...

Good luck to everyone, and hope Monday 2 May is joyous for all....

I asked that same question to MP and he said that if training slots open up, they might have to use 16-01 awardees to fill them ahead of 15-01 people. Take it for what it's worth.

Lots of folks "pulling" bids. For instance, guy awarded 76C or 76 FO on previous bid, but hasn't gone to training yet. This bid has them "bidding back" to former seat, but they haven't really even left yet. I think that means a lot of previous training slots are going to evaporate, and folks who really are going to the new seat will move up.

Haven't looked closely at this, so YMMV....but there are going to be a lot of ripples.

So that begs the question; if I fly with a 11mo CA, do I fill out a probationary report on him/ her????😂😂😂

By "moving up" that would imply previous letter folks would still train before the new letter folks, right? Just earlier. In theory anyway?

Training letters are all currently being revised? Tried to access them this morning to get a handle on potential delays in training dates.... But all were "not available"

Speaks volumes about the schedules y'all have to fly. Seniority sounds very important at FedEx.
