Cry me a river honduma$$, I poured basements for a long time till I wrecked my back. Two surgeries later I said I'm gonna learn to fly. I worked line service for three years at the local FBO getting my ratings , living off poor wages and left over catering. But I didn't ***** and moan about it . Geeze man if you don't want to be a CFI than don't be a CFI, no rule says you have to . just don't be an *********, cause it WILL come back to haunt you.

This is so telling...
You aren't going to find much sympathy especially when you continue to insult everyone else. The very fact that you will admittedly argue (as opposed to debate or discuss) is the reason you find angry people who insult you and your choices. That's like kicking a Doberman and then getting mad because it bit you.

 

I haven't seen insults directed to you in this thread - people offering advice and surprised to see your response, but no real insults.

For clarity, this is what a mild insult might look like:

 

"why do you think i hate students, i just have no desire to tell anyone anthing when i dont have any real experience, if i get to be a captian for an airline, ill probably have figured things out and then i fell ill be qualified to tell someone something, and secondly an FO has his own experience."



And as a wake up call, the age 60 deal isn't going to keep people from flying. Maybe at the airline level (age 65 permitting), but we are still gonna fly. Hell, I'm not an airline pilot and I wouldn't fly with you. I choose to teach because I love sharing what I know with other people who strive to be the best pilot they can. I don't know it all, and neither do you my friend. Like I said before, new instructors face their own struggles with being new. But a good new instructor will admit when they are stumped, and learn from it. If you wont fly with a CFI who has 300 hours, how in the hell are you going to be comfortable flying as a Captain with a FO who only has a wet commercial, and has hardly any real world experience flying a multi in actual IMC?

You seriously need to reconsider the harsh attitude. No one here has insulted you. Oneday you are going to p*** off the wrong person and it will bite you right in the butt. I've watched students applying to vet school tick off the wrong person, and never set foot into a DVM program...the same goes for aviation.

You still have time to turn things around.
