Chief Pilots $25,000 -$35,000 per month

Executive Vice President Flight Ops ( A Senior Captain ) $45,000-$60,000 per month plus Car and a Mansion with servants...

A320 pilots average 65-75 hours per month
A330, A350, B787, B777 average 60-80 hours per month
A380 average 55-70 hours per month

All pilots get an average of 15 days off..

I work here so it's accurate information...

Those pay rates are inclusive of a housing allowance or no? Also, does Qatar provide transportation to/from the airport like EK?

Thanks!

The salaries I listed are all inclusive...basic salary, flying salary, per diem, housing, transportation expenses, etc...This is how much you will see on your check every month...If you choose to live in company housing then subtract $3,000 per month for FOs and around $3,500 for Captains since they get a much bigger house....All in all you live a very luxurious lifestyle...The food we get fed on flights is all gourmet, the hotels are all top notch...If one lives the life of a Qatar Airways Pilot then it is very hard for them to adapt to a job like Delta or American since their lifestyle is a mediocre middle class type...Also, it is not easy to get fired from Qatar Airways as long as you do your job to the best of your ability as anywhere else...The CEO Akbar Al Baker has an open door policy where you can go directly to him and speak to him if you are having any issues- 99% of the time he will resolve your issue himself..I was employed at Qatar Airways 3 different times...All I had to do was call the CEO and I got a class date to return- no interviews or anything else...That's how things work in Qatar Airways...The lifestyle of U.S Legacy pilots does not even come close...

Qatar Airways does not provide a car or driver to and from work like EK does...Not a big deal though as you are provided a transportation allowance in the salary...

Also, the CEO Akbar Al Baker waives his $25 million Dollar a year salary...So that tells you that the guy genuinely loves his job and does it for his country..He is already a Billionaire in U.S Dollars so I guess he doesn't need the money anyways..Also, in the arab world, not all Billionaires are listed on Forbes, etc since many do not like to boast..Akbar Al Baker is so powerful that people like Donald Trump attend his parties on short notice when he invites them...All this type of glamour and luxury trickles down at Qatar Airways...You actually get to experience the Golden Era aviation once had in the old Pan Am days...If you grew up with the old Pan Am and TWA then you will love flying for Qatar Airways- yes it's that great all in all...

There is more diversity in Qatar Airways than any other Airline in the World...You literally fly with people from every corner of the planet...No one is left out- we even employ Jewish pilots...Everyone is treated fairly- everyone...

But DL or AA is a "mediocre job" at home. And the cockpits aren't any different.

I have several friends at Qatar and their account is vastly different than this fairy tale. So much so that I have to call bs on this. One can dream though...

I can't vouch for the accuracy of all of this posting, but I can tell you this. I am a new DEC on the B777 joined January 2015. My first month on line as Captain after OE (June paycheck) I was paid

63,259 Qatari Rials which is equal to $17,370.75 US Dollar (all inclusive)

Hmmm... remarkably close to what A330pilot posted.

That is all I know about that.

F10 you don't have any friends in QR....If you did, you would not be shocked at these numbers...Its just that you are used to *** pay in the U.S and can't stand seeing decent numbers aka jealousy....I never post garbage, just the facts...To me personally, I think the numbers should be even higher...

Got2fly, thanks for the input...Appreciate the facts...

Enjoy the peasant wages in the U.S F10 cuz that's all your gonna get

Lol.. I don't even work in the US or for an airline and my pay and qol exceeds anything posted here but thanks for the laugh and keep drinking the date juice or whatever Akbar pumps up your hole. My friends still have had a different experience than you apparently have.

Curiously ... Just a few months ago you posted how you always wanted to fly for UA and were disappointed to have not been called. If Qatar is such a dream job where anyone can pop in to Akbar's office at any time or ring him up directly and discuss why they can't date a hostie or be seen riding to work in a taxi with one, why would you flying for Eagle and trying to get on with a legacy... Or leave Qatar 3 different times and get a job as an atc controller?

F10, you are clearly not a bright guy...I was lucky to have the opportunity to return to QR after NOT flying for 4 years- yes I owe it to Akbar Al Baker..I was inquiring about UAL and never even applied..I flew for Eagle before you were ever born so I don't know where you are pulling your ** info from...Do us a favor and please go get a life and stop claiming to know pilots anywhere at any airline...You earn more than QR pilots- I laugh at your statements...I read your previous posts and it seems to me that you are a wannabe Major Airline Pilot who can't get a call from any Major....Good luck in life as you will need it...
