I am a new hire that starts in Feb. I have read mixed reviews on the company but would like to hear about the job itself. I know the money could be better, but it really seems like a good place to work. Am I missing something? Retired military guy here looking to make a living.

Well that is one of the problems Flex is having. Pilots come here until their class date at the Majors/Cargo. One guy had his class date before he started at Flex. He was going to use his new type rating to fly contract on the side.

Of the 6 new hires I have flown with who have been with Flex less then a year.
Four are already looking for other jobs and sending out their applications.
One is very happy to have a job after some past problems and one is ready to crawl his way up into a shiny new Gulfstream back stabbing anyone he has to for the position.
That is what I am seeing.

The 1/16/19 seniority list has 646 pilots listed. The 12/18/18 list had 649. The latest email from RH (VP of Red Label) says they are hiring fifteen per month. How can we shrink by three if we are hiring that many? That math should be pretty alarming for management. But then a friend on the Lear pointed out to me that the Lear pay scale hasn't been adjusted since 2010! That should be alarming for anyone thinking about coming here. No raises since 2010, and then no raise in the "new" compensation package?
