I flew with a guy there who was in your position. He had to go get a single engine add on. Probably would cost you less than $3k for the training and test. If you have a single engine private, you could probably do it for even less.

I worked for them a few years ago. It’s unlikely they would pay for your SE commercial. Others on this board may be able to chime in.

With the number of current qualified pilots out there, I doubt P/S will issue a CJO on the condition of earning a SEL - COMM. PRIVILEGES added to your airman certificate. Get the rating... apply for the job... and get the job.

scheduling the SE add on as we speak. i did get a hold of someone in HR and they confirmed what all of you have said. I will need to obtain it on my own. No big deal, just didnt want to waste time and money if there was an alternative.

Most look at training costs as an investment in their futures.

Does anyone know how long the WebEx technical interview lasts? I have a subscription to aviationinterviews.com and found just about everything but that.

In the winter it's mostly just 2 to 3 legs. In the summer busy season it's more like 5 to 8 much shorter legs. It's hard work but very fun flying.

Is there only one hiring class this year? Summer? When does that begin?
