Just thinking hypothetically for the future, say someone gets hired on as an FO with 1,000 hours. Are all these guys staying on at least a year or two or do many leave for the airlines as soon as they hit 1,500 hours?

What is the consequence of this for the pilot and is PlaneSense respectful about them leaving after such short time? I recall hearing about a training contract and I'd imagine as long as you pay back what is owed no harm no foul. I'm also curious if they're asking people in their interviews if they plan on leaving for the airlines and then not hiring them if they say yes...

Most go at 1500. Gotta get that seniority number. They sign an 18 month pro-rated contract. They'll come after you for the balance. Easily. Switched to a Promissory Note vs a "contract" and it is enforceable unlike the contract.

I'd send an email saying you're touching base, and attaching a copy of your updated resume and that your looking forward to hearing from them soon.

Can you explain a little more how this contract works? Say an FO was hired at 750 and left at 1500, how long would it take them to get to 1500 and what would they owe (if anything) to Planesense?

Takes as long as it takes to get your time. Contract is 18 months pro rated at 14k I believe. Meaning if you leave in 6 months, you owe 7k. They will.come after you. It's not a contract per se, but rather a promissory note.

On rotation you will get 20-40 hours on average. So figure without overtime about 500-700 hours in a year. The outstations fly less than PSM due to more days spent on the airlines than in the PC-12

Wow, only 20-40 flight hours a month? Well if I ever get the call looks like I'll just keep instructing...

PER ROTATION. NOT PER MONTH.
