Time wise, I'm right there with you guys. 800tt, 100 multi with around 100 instrument (80 is sim inst) and 100 g1000.
I have my FIA written done and just need to get off my butt and finish CFII. My school doesn't do a lot of instrument training so it hadn't been worth the investment to get it until now.
If you still need to do your written, I used Sheppard Air to study. I think I spend 3 days studying and just about aced the test. It's worth the $40 or whatever it costs.

It should. They say it helps if you're a CFII.

For those with your cfii what did you use for a curriculum to study?
My initial instrument was 2 years ago and it was terrible. I knew enough to pass but not nearly enough to instruct. Any suggestions?

I havent really done a ton of instrument in over a year, so just taking the application exam was a HUGE refresher. It all comes back very quickly though!

I know a guy who got hired with less time than me and no CFII. So i'm sure it definitely helps but luckily its not a deal breaker.
I havent really done a ton of instrument in over a year, so just taking the application exam was a HUGE refresher. It all comes back very quickly though!

MCO here. I live in Orlando so it might not just be about time building for me. I might make this a lifetime career if the company is as great as it sounds!
