That is ProLine21 in the II right? That plane looks like a kick in the butt to fly! I saw one in Palm Springs when I was there once back in Jan '10. I wish the crew had been around because I might have worked up enough moxy to ask them for a tour of the aircraft - exterior and interior!

You don't have to work up moxy for a tour. Unless the owner is right there and we have to go I'll give anyone who's interested the nickel tour. I'm sure I speak for most Avantair crews.

I expect that most would GlasssPilot - but I always feel bad approaching the crews because I know that they are just trying to get some rest and relax. All that I can remember approaching though (for any bizjet) have always been very accommodating - thanks guys.

Unless you're waking me up from snoozeville in the quiet room to go look inside the nearjet, I'm cool with it. If you are waking me up in the quiet room, bring Ding Dongs as a bribe.

Got a tour a while back from a crew in LAX. Neat plane. The cockpit looks pretty tight but the cabin is quite nice. Much bigger inside than I would have thought.

Ah! Now if I could just find you and Glassspilot together we could have quite the tour complete with Ding Dongs and Dr Pepper!
Well...if you ever have a stop through OKC - drop a line.

The AAIR K-1 report (annual financial report) is due on the 29th. Hoepfully these guys will continue their upward stride and show a profit this year as predicted. Last year they had reduced their losses to 4.5 million, a great improvement over the previous years. The only concern I have is that Bloomberg rates them very risky (worst in the Frac industry) because they are capitalised with too much debt and not enough equity.

I guess that makes us "risky". Don't we all have too much debt and not enough equity?

Hi, I've just spent some time scrolling through this thread and this post peaked my interest. Not many days spent in a hotel?? How does that work? During your 7 on are you back to your gateway city most nights? I always figured that with 7 on 7 off fractional schedules you could pretty much count on being gone for 7 days at a time.

I would imagine that "not many days spent in a hotel" just means that the crews are kept pretty busy and aren't lounging around at hotels.

Although it'd probably be a relief to spend a day in the hotel due to a lot of the long days they've been having! My buddies that work there aren't back at the gateway daily.
