Not to stir the pot too much or try to are anyone upset, but word around here at Flexjet is that Ricci has his sites set on you guys, especially your 300's. Perhaps an announcement later this week during Ricci's quarterly conference call. Just telling you what we're hearing...

They haven't said for sure yet but should be this Friday or Saturday. Yes, Ricci does conference calls on Saturday. As far as loose lips go, I've never been a part of any pilot group where there weren't folks like that. That being said, I never post anything that I don't personally believe may have some teeth to it and if I'm wrong, then I'm wrong. After all, isn't that what these forums are for? Also, if were an employee of a company that is potentially in the crosshairs of another and someone had some possible intel, I think I'd like to be forewarned.

I'd be extremely careful with "rolling rest".
The FAA Chief Counsel has issued numerous statements that rest must be known in advance. Here is one of the rulings:

The rumor was that was supposed to have happened about a ago. We're also actively hiring. Neeeeeeext rumor!!!!
Besides, if that were to happen we would only find out after the deal was done (none disclosure agreements as such). Until that point I'm cashing my paychecks, enjoying wakeboarding on my weeks off and not wasting time worrying about something that I have 0 control over.

So riddle me this... XO Minimums are ATP or Commercial Cert with ATP written. That's pretty broad. Obviously you have the "competitive FO minimums" but it's my understanding that there are no SIC 135 requirements. Correct me if I am wrong, but even with 500 hours one could apply to be an FO at XO (though your app would get laughed out the door)...

We are able to charge a significant premium for the 300 when the client wants to lock in the aircraft type over the citation, so that's not a surprise he wants them. I'm sure he can have them, if the price was right. Everything is for sale...
