Obviously, no place is perfect.
If you live someplace where there isn't an XO plane likely to be at the start of your rotation, and they airline you someplace, when do you find out? If they tell you at 9pm you've got a 6am commute... you'll get little rest since you've got to be at the airport in time and drive there, yada yada yada. Or are things pretty well organized as far as that goes?
Everyone's QOL and things that aggravate them or make them happy are different.. XO seems a pretty good place to be for awhile though.
I hope they'll be at a job fair soon so I can speak to some people in person.

Or are things pretty well organized as far as that goes? It's not that bad. I typically know by 5-6pm est where I'm going. Sometimes its first flight out, others have been more civilized like 8-10am flights. They could be more efficient for transitions. They recently included on pilot portal a transitions schedule so you can see what everyone is doing and if you see something that makes more sense bc yours does not you can question it.

I have enjoyed my time so far at Xojet, great crews and quality of life on the road is probably some of the best i have seen in my flying career. I'm not really an airline kind of guy so i am staying put here for the foreseeable future. You get to fly to some really cool and challenging airports from time to time here versus the same old 10,000 foot ILS runways like the airlines. You're not gonna get rich working here but can live comfortably, and after a certain amount of years you get 3-4 weeks of vacation which turns into about 3 weeks off every quarter or so. One thing i would really like here would be a 7/7 schedule, we get that, and i would make it a career here for sure.

I was. Travel benefits were nice...when it worked out. Been here almost a year and have accrued enough points for airline tickets and hotel stays I don't miss the benefits. That being said I was at a non wholly owned regional where we were always bottom of the list crap barrel for stby. Plus I have a family so even more stressful doing stby. I do miss the Jumpseat but again I didn't use it that much as I didn't travel a lot due to family and little one at home. Now having travel bens as legacy pilot prolly little different story. So pros you keep all the hotel, airline, credit card points. Stay in pretty nice hotels almost always, and will eat better than you ever did at the regionals. Home based. I would say it's all PROS over a regional. Comparing it to a Major their tons of pros/cons and more than I want to tap on my iPad, but you could figure those out.

Wouldn't hurt. They are having a lot of attrition so now would be a good time to get in.

How to apply?
Hey I too am pursuing a job at XOJ. How do I apply though? The last post makes it sound like they may be recruiting but their website clearly says that they do not accept unsolicited resumes. Do I just need to keep watching or am I missing something?

I'm guessing it means they don't look or even keep resume/apps unless they have specifically announced there are positions open.
