Been a while since I did mine, just go over basic part 135 IFR rules such as when do you need a take off and landing alternate, how to you get legal alternates, what do you need to land while on an approach, how to figure descent profile from cruise altitude down to airport, etc.. Good luck, best charter company I have worked for so far.

Only been here one fiscal year so won't know till I get my returns. Lot can vary based on the base Salary. Overtime pay, tips, Atlantic bucks. Easy to get overtime if you want it. Look for a new FO salary bump after first of the year. Like I stated before not a bad place to hang your hat for a little while. If you're young it's a stepping stone if you are 55+ probably an okay place to spend rest of career.

- Read a couple of NOTAMs (on the second one just asked what EST stood for)
- Read a METAR
- Read a TAF (also asked how long a TAF is valid for)
- Depart KTRM off rwy 17, flight plan KTRM PSP KVNY, cleared as filed, maintain 12000, brief the departure.
- Asked airspeeds for C airspace within 4 miles of airport, below and in B, and B above 10000
- Coming into KVNY (OVC005, 1 SM), explain difference between ILS Y 16R and ILS Z 16R
- Chose ILS Z 16R, brief the approach from VNY
- What do you need to land from an approach? 91.175
- Tower tells you to go missed at 2000' MSL, explain missed approach procedure actions...SEE NOTE ABOVE AIRPORT DIAGRAM ON APPROACH PLATE
- Asked about 135 alternate requirements and times when you need an alternate. My operator doesn't have ops spec C079 and he wasn't going to ask about takeoff alternates but I mentioned it anyway
- Asked about 135 pilot oxygen requirements
I think that's it, or at least that's all I can remember. Hopefully this helps the next guy!

Are there any current XOJET pilots that are also military (e.g., guard or reservists) fliers? I wasn't sure if XOJET would stay away from military guys because of possible mil leave and the bidding set on a schedule (8on/6off), not traditional airline bidding.
Any insight on a military guy getting in with XOJET would be appreciated.
