I had my phone screen back in September. The interview lasted about 45 minutes…mostly because of all the questions I asked. It was very relaxed, and he answered everything. He asked me about my background and experience. He then had to cover about a dozen “HR” type questions (Any accidents? Any incidents? When is the earliest you’re available? Etc.), and about 5-10 technical questions (see the list on aviationinterviews.com). He went into great detail about how the rest of the process, including Indoc, initial training, and Operating Experience would flow. Finally, he closed by letting me know that I should hear something one way or the other within 2 weeks.

Awesome! They treat you really well at Indoc, and initial training has been...well, initial training. Can’t wait to hit the line...

I used that as well for my interview. It’s not a be all end all, but it gives you an idea of what to study. READ your plates. They pick ones with gotchas in them to see if you catch it. Good luck! If you have any questions feel free to PM me. I’m on my first week of IOE.

It's good to know the plates, regs, etc. But just as important, make sure you mingle during the downtimes of your interview day. Like during lunch, or other relaxed times. Even if you're a quiet person, like me. I had to force myself to make small talk and smile a lot.

Congrats on the interview. How long from the phone screen to call for an in person interview? I got an email last week saying to send my availability and another today saying I can expect a call tonight or tomorrow to schedule the phone screen.

Phone screen complete...
I just completed the phone screen. I think it went well and was told I will hear from them soon. Fingers crossed!
Anyone recent interviewers want to chime in on how long it took to hear back?
Thanks!
