Thanks in advance.
I applied December 10th. Received an email a month later to schedule my phone interview. 10 days later I was contacted to schedule my in person. Beyond being patient, I cannot say who to contact. Your friend should have received a confirmation email stating the application was received. If he clicks on link that says to respond through jobvite, it will take them to a page that allows you to look at the status of the application. If it says in process, be patient. If it says not selected, then he will know.

Jet Fuel ,

I also recommend patience. XOJET is right in the middle of transitioning from California to Florida, so recruiting isn’t not quite as fast as some of us have come to expect. However, I have found the XOJET recruiting folks to be top-notch, and am sure you will be contacted.

Great to hear! If you want any inside info shoot me a pm. Life on the line is great. All the stands captains I’ve flown with are great.

For starters, here is the new FO pay scale:First Officer Pay Scale

Tier 1 $75,000 3,500 1,500/1,500/1,500/150

Tier 2 $65,000 3,000 1,000/1,000/1,000/150

Tier 3 $60,000 2,500 500/500/500/150

Tier 4 $55,000 1,500 500/500/100/150

Base Captain rates range from $112,000 to $175,000, and there are still additional pay bumps for Standards Captains and Check Airmen.

If you choose a Flex schedule instead of a fixed schedule (8/6 or 15/13), a FO will earn an additional $12,000/year and a Captain an additional $16,000. There are also increased rates for getting home on your last day after 10:00 pm and after midnight.

You now start with two weeks vacation (16 days) in year one and can bid for one “personal holiday” day. There is also now an override for flying on one of five designated holidays throughout the year.

All in all, I think they put a lot of work into addressing compensation (but no changes to retirement). Most importantly, it’s great people!!!

As you gain flight experience at XO, I imagine your pay moves up the tiers for an FO?
