Jet Fuel ,
I also recommend patience. XOJET is right in the middle of transitioning from California to Florida, so recruiting isn’t not quite as fast as some of us have come to expect. However, I have found the XOJET recruiting folks to be top-notch, and am sure you will be contacted.

Thank you. It's hard to be patient with this good news about improved payscales! I was able to check on the Jobvite site, and my application is still "processing".

They have been very busy with the holidays and the move coming up. It was 69 days from submitting my application on 20 Nov 19 until my interview on 28 Jan 20. Hang in there!

They took away Atlantic bucks and fuel savings as well. Loosing fuel savings really hurts the X crews but it was next to impossible to make money on the 300. They replaced it with a convoluted “bonus” system that you are not eligible for until 12 months of employment and a “tier 1FO” or upgrade to captain. After that it’s graduated based on tenure. It’s also based on attrition. The higher the attrition, the less the bonus is for everyone across the board........ not quite sure what that says. Also extra day pay moved up to 900/1200 for FO/CA.

negotiated a fuel price predicated on us being ineligible for Atlantic bucks. Saves the company quite a bit of money I’m sure as they need it more than we pilots do. Same as some larger aircraft like BBJ’s that are not eligible for them either. The captains pay raise far outweighs these two perks. (Except for the X drivers on fuel savings) but does hurt the junior lower time FO’s. Although it’s probably worth it coming into the job accruing 2 weeks vacay, as they tend to run you ragged these days.

Buyer Beware
XOJet is going through major changes that will bifurcate XO and XOCR. The Vista guys were already getting screwed and now it is worse. Look at the new "package" XOCR was not even mentioned. This is a money grab by the XOJet pilots led by 5+ year XOJet pilots going no here in the greatest 121 hiring boom in history. Be aware, if you interview for Vista US or XOCR you are the stepchildren of XOJet. They are taking care of their own until Malta takes over the whole airline. Paint uniforms etc. are the first step.
The new improvements by the Round Table are for the XO Jets pilot only that fly the CL300 and Citation X. The management wants to reward the pilots that can't get hired by 121 for whatever reason and protect the long term XOJet pilots. Figure it out, they have a problem retaining quality pilots that want the majors. The company moved to FXE to cull the employees in California and lower costs. No one wants to speak the truth. Why wouldn't they merge the seniority lists and compensation/benefits. This is a shell game with max debt living on cash flow like the 121 airlines in the 80's 90's and after 9/11.
Why do you think there is so much consolidation. Debt, cash flow and the lack of pilots. Pilots are so stupid and like shiny "Big" objets and the new kid on the block.
Buyer beware, upgrades will slow, the carrot of new airplanes...hilarious..this is a cash flow "High debt endeavor" unlike Uncle Warren that has his own problems. Who is going to throw the bull**** flag on this "new deal."
Why is a company constantly hiring with no increase in airframes and a decreasing number of flight hours? Why would they not want all pilots under one agreement and one set of agreed upon compensation and benefits? This will not work as structured!

A few abused it so they punish everyone which really hurts the more junior pilots and the XOCR (Vista US ) guys that don't get the same perks as XOJET. Slippery slope. Is the company (BIG COMPANY MAKING MILLIONS?) on such a financial edge they can't allow the Atlantic Bucks? Pilots can be led over the cliff so easily. Management gives a happy story and they trip over themselves drooling to follow! A lot, like politics. It is all personal and if you buy the BS without studying history or asking the direct question you will fall for the sham! Then there will be the ignorant few that protest too much because they are afraid they will be exposed for being synchophants! Seriously, how lean is the cash flow?

Agree with the buyer beware that the move to FL is going to change things more then anything else. But a lot of people on here said in the past that XOCR was definitely NOT XOJ. Honestly its hard to fight for better working conditions and pay when you add a group that didn’t have defined rest, did training on “off days” and worked longer schedules. For the guys that went that route and have only been on property for a year and went to the silver tails it sucks cause I think they where sold that it was a tighter relationship when it wasn’t. Getting that extra vacation is huge in the first couple years. If you really wanna capitalize cash just work over vacation that’s $7200 for a week as a new FO. I wouldn’t do it but at least it’s an option.

Reader Beware
Dash727 created quite the write up. Much of it contains truth, but the majority looks like a campaign against a company (and possibly pilots) that have hurt him somehow.
Read all the information you can. Take everything in and do your own analysis.
My insider view: I wouldn't choose to be at any other 135 (or 91k) operator right now for many significant reasons. However, nobody knows what the future holds. XOJET's company and culture has already changed drastically from a year ago. This buyout/merger is making it a different company. Only time will tell if the changes are for better or worse.
