I think the edge goes to the X’s. There are just more of them.

Default JetSmarter?

I read a few pages back where somebody made a not so veiled swipe at JetSmarter passengers. Then I read that Vista Global bought them (JS).

This report has them sounding like the next Fyre Festival:

I know they are listed as a valuable brand partner for XOJ. For current XOJs, what is the real world experience flying JS customers and how many trips do you think they account for?

Certainly makes me think twice about applying at XOJet.

It doesn't make me think twice yet. I'm just wondering if the aim, now that they're under the same umbrella, is simply to provide an app-based platform and on-demand software solution for Vista and XO +brokerage aircraft exclusively and maybe, at the same time, tighten up some of the concerns addressed in the CNBC piece. Although JS had been valued at $1.6B, it had dropped to some say in the $20M park. It would be interesting to see what it went for.

We were told they main reason for the purchase was to obtain the JS app booking platform. The big problem children of the JS community were the bottom feeders who paid the base membership. This allowed them to ride the DH flights. In the past 4 years JS has continually increased the base price. This has helped push out the trash mostly. Now they say that with the acquisition the DH availability will complete go away and we will only do official JS charters. Time will tell but somewhat optimistic.
