How's staffing in KC? I met BJ last spring when he was CP, and there wasn't much going on at the time. I like that they are trying to keep things simple.

Deadstick,

Staffing at MKC is Strong, but they still have hired at KC to fill future needs. I would check into it if you are interested!

As long as KP and BT let them do their jobs, then things should improve. In my opinion, they've have micromanaging issues in the past.

Have an interview next week for BUF... are things getting any better at EAS?
What is the starting pay? (cant find this anywhere)
Are you still going out for 28 days at a time?
How is BUF base?

Thanks

PCLCREW,

I am finishing up Indoc and start my Phenom recurrent next week. So far, things have been GREAT! There will not be any 28 day months. Things are on the upward trend for EAS.....I am very excited to work for the EAS team.
My experience with AF, BJ, SS and BT have been nothing but great.
Anyone who throws out FUD's about EAS doesn't really know what is going on.

I am not sure of the complete EAS payscale, but PM me and I can tell you what few things I know. We would love to have you onboard! The BUF base is cold in February, that is all I know. Sorry

Lots of folks throwing out "Fuds" are people who worked for the company long ago. The company has gone though different stages, and developed significantly since "those days." Yes, things are on the upward trend.

Buffalo is very busy, and yes, there are still 28+ days with standby. Lots of base crew sharing.

Buffalo is nice, Dave Jones is a good guy to work for. There won't be any 12 on 18 off for a long while though.

Hey guys,
I recently applied for a pilot position w EAS.
I live in KC area and would love to be a part of this team.
If anyone could give me a few pointers or advice, that would be great.

I have over 10k hrs, plenty of jet and turboprop pic, just no internal recs.

Anything would be great

Thanks

Internal Recs are not needed AFAIK. You have plenty of quality time and shouldn't have any problem getting an interview.
They are hiring into CA and FO seats on all airplanes as EAS needs arise.
Everybody that I have met here at EAS is great to work with and happy to be here.
Not sure exactly what kind of info your looking for, but just throw out any ?'s you have and they will get answered.
Good Luck.

Thanks, RI

Currently flying a MD-11 for World airways for last 4 yrs right seat.
Skywest for 10 yrs, 7 of which PIC CRJ

It seems hard to break into the corporate/fractional realm. OOdles of quality time but no corporate experience. I have had enough of Airline stuff - ready to do some real flying.

Aviation-office.com has a post, they are looking for MCI based Phenom pilots. I live here in KC. I would love to be based at home-- on call is no prob. but I will take what I can get.

I have heard that airline time is frowned upon by corporate outfits.

cant get a break,

I should have been a millionaire.
