Yup, it’ll just be another Kabuki dance from the company followed by another 2 days in April. Groundhog Day.

Or if you're an optimist, the NMB lays out a concentrated effort that has us meeting every week with an April 30th deadline?

Careful. Talk like that will get you a "for cause" drug test.

[Because you're obviously under the influence.]

I hope you're right!

I suppose it's good to be optimistic because none of us really knows if or when we'll see any relief.

I especially enjoyed the multiple 6:15am text messages from ALPA this morning. If nothing else, it encouraged me to get my lazy fanny out of bed on my day off.

Spirit pilot here:

The new minimum has been set with the Spirit ratification, Frontier’s ability to hire and retain just got worse, the company has been bargaining in bad faith, and you don’t have a TRO hanging over your heads. I’d say that puts you all in a pretty good position.

Agreed. While this is frustrating I think we're in this for the long haul. I've been through 5 years of mediation in a single section 6 at a previous airline and that was with a "pro-labor" board in place. I'm ready to walk tomorrow but expecting to be working under this same contract next year at this time.

Whenever we finally do get to vote, my expectations only increase with time. I refuse to settle because "it might be 2 years before we get another TA to vote on." If it's not good, it's a no from me.

Exactly....every single day that goes by my expectations go up. Every single day that goes by, our peers get closer to even more gains. They should have locked this in 2 years ago. Not my problem now.

Hope you guys run into the problem we had at Spirit. $39/hr doesn't get you much anymore! We were taking Commercial Multi guys with no ATP. 2 a class were either fired or just walked away from training. Good luck with the NMB! Please out do our crappy TA!

They must not be hurting that bad! Buddy of mine got turned down after interviewing....great guy, great pilot, multi year regional captain, check airmen, etc. If they are turning down guys like that because they don’t like them or because they’re too qualified, then they’re not hurting that bad.

Unfortunately, Frontier won't be hurting for pilots until next year when the bulk of the deliveries begin. This year is a very small growth year, so they can continue to be picky with new hires.
