What progress?! They threw pbs in there... we’re still not close on pay, retirement, work rules or scope... they increased LTD but the actual benefit is still as clear as mud... I don’t think we’re as close as others may think but I also don’t think there was actual progress... we’ll get a TA on day 29 at 23:59:59...

I'm surprised at the level of confidence that we are nearing the end. The company made real progress at the last session. I'm sue they will make at least a little more progress at the next session. If progress is being made, I really don't see the NMB doing much.

The real progress was the fact no real progress was made. Closer we get to proffer the sooner we get this over with. The company won’t negotiate. That is our asset. We need the 29th day of cooling off as fast as we can.

And yes, I agree that "real progress" hasn't really been made, but it's probably just enough progress to keep this process dragging.

Spirit pilots were slapped with a TRO, while Frontier management has been found by a neutral arbitrator to be negotiating in bad faith. In addition, we still have the LOA 67 issue. This puts us on better footing than Spirit pilots and I expect a better deal.
As far as PBS goes, I think the union will not accept a TA with it. I would be surprised if PBS makes it through the process. If it does, the pay rates will have to be quite a bit higher than Spirits. I expect to keep line bidding and pay rates slightly higher than Spirits.
