Frontier Negotiations Discussion

Am I missing something? Isn't this AIP better than allegiant better than spirit and in March 3 months after signing we would go up another 4 bucks an hour bringing us closer to JetBlue? JetBlue and southwest run on a different business mentality we won't top them. But even then in 2023 we're above JetBlue where they stand right now.
then compare that. Also remember march 3rd we get another increase, and don't stop there, think hard about why they mention 3/2 on your 401k increases. that is OUR DOS. Is it a significant date at all for frontier? Nope.

take what you see as spirit rates and add 2.5% to the top, that's what we actually get (321 override is company wide for everyone not just who flies it)

All NO voters please email all MEC members and local reps your thoughts, why you’re voting NO, and what it will take to get you closer to a YES. I am a NO vote and just did. It takes 5 minutes. If you need the email addresses, just go to the bottom of the October 29th Jet Blast email, and copy and paste. If we have any prayer of shutting this down, we need EVERY NO Voter to send emails!

Oh didn't know about the 2.5 percent. I'm wondering if our new trip rig/mdg would cover that difference. I'm tempted to vote Yes and have us renegotiate in 4.5 years making 100 grand more a year 15 percent retirement rather than now. But I'll have to see the full language to decide especially with that statement at the end of the email. "There are other changes to the CBA that we look forward to explaining." I feel like they're dangling the carrot and we'll get the stick soon.

So content with being last in the pack. Embarrassing 🤦

PBS, LTD, Retirement, Just look at the slope. 5-6 year captains won’t get our two year old ask til 2021. And, they will not even reach our current ask ever. 12yr captains in 2021 will be at 6 yr capt pay for jet blue. They will “catch up” in 2023, but 11 yr captains will be at 7 yr jet blue rates. Yet the first officers will get our two year old ask almost immediately at DOS. The rates are set up to look semi palatable and appeal to the very top and very bottom of the pilot group but it’s lipstick on a pig. The majority of this pilot group will most likely be in the low to middle capt group in this scale in 2023 and it is severely lacking. And that’s just the pay rates. The MEC has just joined the Frontier recruiting team and gave them reprieve until we shoot this down. This should’ve never made it to the pilots. It is definitely against any promise made to the pilot group and totally against any of the recent surveys. Any delay in getting a fair deal, after this Biffle winning “deal” gets thrown back, lies squarely on the shoulders of the MEC. NMB not doing their jobs doesn’t mean the MEC doesn’t have to do theirs. I’m guessing they were out of the room when the current president of ALPA said we aren’t going to accept a discount contract. I bet the Dec class is overfilled! Leverage isn’t there forever but we had it, and you used it for this!!!

Lump sum as explained to me by an MEC rep is based on seat and longevity only. It will not be based of W2’s to reward the super pilots Biffle had on speed dial who continually saved the company by picking up incentivized trips.
