The Biffster is going to have a heart attack when we vote this down!! That’s reason enough for me to vote be a no vote!! Not to mention it’s below our ask from 3 years ago and it’s the lowest again in the industry. I hope this group has the guts to send a resounding no vote to this management. Enough is enough!

The new tax law alone makes this AIP obsolete and 75 million chump change for Franke. Retirement? Are you kidding??
I will say there are some good things but the bad vastly outweighs the good.
Franke needs a contract. Why do you think all of a sudden they came to the table?? The reason doesn’t matter...he needs it. Vote NO!
Remember when the other carriers gave a silly $1,000 bonus after the new tax law and we got the memo from Biffle we must pay for a Coke??? Yeah, I’ll have that in mind when I vote NO!

As someone who was chanting that we should withhold judgment until the details were released, I'll now join the chorus and add that I’m another no vote. I refuse to cement myself to the bottom of the industry for the next 10 years. Don’t think for a second that this contract will be any less duration than that. Also, even if a merger is in the works, I’ll take my chances under current book. I will not sell myself short on “what ifs” and/or fear.

If the union can't PROVE that I'm going to maintain my qol AND credit 100 hours a month than these rates are deplorable.

That's not how this works! You can't be the LAST to get a contract that's in LAST place.

Let’s look at some real numbers of this vs JB.
I used 75 hrs a month credit, and the 12% F9 DC vs JB 15%, 2.35 vs 2.00 per diem at 280 TAFB. I don’t know the cost of the health care so cannot compare there.
The LTD is 13.5k vs 8k. The list goes on and on!
The Pay, DC, and per diem where I would fall (even using the March rates) puts me behind our brothers at JB $35,905 a year. The first year. Yeah it goes down a little due to slope, but that’s enough to pay straight up for a year of college that we are leaving on the table. EVERY YEAR FOR REALISTICALLY 8 YEARS!
YGTBSM!
Grab a pen and paper and figure out how much more you all would be getting forked by Indigo.

Substandard Rates, DC, LTD, Per Diem, Duration, Pattern Bargaining integrity, and didn’t even get a real min day. Oh, but that industry leading vacation is in there ( yeah right).
This thing isn’t even close.
Can’t wait for the timeshare presentation.
