Up to 22 now... the big difference is that we have no room for recovery.

Not sure why everyone thinks that. They didn't file one during the last melt down.

They need some kind of basis to file one. There is none against the work groups. Incentivized trips are still being picked up, and we're still doing our job.

Now mgmnt folks, that's another story. Someone should be fired for this. I'm thinking Pat Ryan would be a great place to start. He controls the staffing. Then I'd fire the idiot who runs SOC... They need to do something to get this place back on track. Then I'd fire someone high up in maintenance. We had an airplane overly an MEL drop dead date last week. That blame lies on them.

These cancellations aren’t due to crew shortages. Flights off my schedule are canceling we’re seeing 6-9+ hour delays due to mtx/no spare aircraft, then they cancel the flight a couple hours till.

I couldn’t agree more. The incompetence starts with the management. There is no accountability. Staffing, schedules, SOC decisions, MELs... how can you not walk to the bus shaking your head?

Well, I don’t know how many times we can suggest a thread be closed before the venting of frustrated pilots falls into the wrong hands. On a side note, congratulations to all of those whose quotes made the letter. Impressive work.

This is nothing more than a delay tactic, management knows we did nothing wrong. The increased delays are a direct result of understaffed and outsourced work. Keep your head in the game. PBS and a TRO were Spirit management’s last play as well. The end is near!

But I don't want a TRO or PBS.

Nobody does, but don’t forget that a TRO does NOT equal PBS. The pilots will get to vote on something eventually. Just because the pilot group is threatened (by both ALPA and the company) doesn’t mean they have to cave. This isn’t over until the pilots vote 50% +1 in favor of a contract.
