I just want to give a big shout out to Biff and the boys! My Thanks is to them, for showing us we are getting close because of their utter desperation. It’s obvious they are baiting the hooks so people will knock over their grandmother to do a midnight turn to SJU. How safe is this. I’m sure that the pilots picking up these last minute incentivized trips were truly “rested”. We are lucky that nothing happened. They are promoting a truly unsafe and unsustainable practice. Who signs the release saying that you are fit for duty? The FAA won’t blame the company, they’ll look at the Pilots, and if they didn’t show up with proper rest they’ll assume the blame which opens you up for legal liability. These guys are using the one thing they understand to keep this operation going, GREED!. They do this by shelling out tens of thousands of dollars to cover an understaffed and poorly structured schedule. 60 hrs to cover a trip is a last gasp of desperation. These are the same people who are stealing $78 out of their employees pockets every month because they had more than one child. Some of these trips are paying a whole year of somebody’s $78. Isn’t this obvious to everyone!? What it shows is that we are truly way under paid and getting close to winning. People will go out of their way and work hard for well compensated trips. But take away that incentive and no one would want to bust their arse to show up on their days off. The “greed” spigot gets turned down Jun 29 because of LOA 65. Look at the facts here. These penny pinching, greedy SOBs are throwing money at us to fix their mess of an operation. It’s only the beginning of summer. I sure hope they’re ready to throw a whole bunch more. Times running out.

What gets me is the DEN pilots that somehow magically pick up MCO incentivised trips. It's amazing how hard working our pilot group is. Bravo gentleman, bravo.

Pilots were getting hotels to wait for INC trips.

Y'all should ask your reps what the company is paying for INC each month compared to what a CBA would cost. Staggering why people are still helping....

Fiddling while Rome burns? Or wily like a coyote? ... I think the latter. I sense no desperation on their part; we are weak and ineffectual and they know it. They will exploit us for exactly as long as we let them. Period.

We are no different. Greedy. Especially those who can't sacrifice over a selfless day like picking. Current and past reps, people who rat out their own pilots to management for being "offended" and bait pilots on that rediculous FB page. I left it right after that episode went down with one of the line guys. Anyone who posts there has to assume she runs screen shots to friends in management.

With the cost of a new contract, management will gladly keep things status quo and throw a little cash to keep the operation moving.

I'll completely agree with the first and last part of your post. I cannot speak to the FB issue.

Looks like NK is moving in on MCO base. Any idea on how that will affect things here?

Based on what I have heard, lets just say I would not pack up my kids and move there. MCO is getting ready to be like Denver. Pilots will look like refugees packing up and heading to the next indigo profit center.
Do not come to Frontier thinking you will get based in DEN or MCO for any significant amount of time. UAL is running us out of Denver and JB and Spirit are conquering routes and new facilities in MCO. Frontier is a dead end folks.

I’m as fed up as the next guy with this place but how do you figure we’re getting run out of Denver or Orlando? Kirby said that was “a fight we won’t lose” then shifted his plans... we’re actually growing in Orlando... there’s no way anyone can drive us out of Orlando, or Vegas for that matter... this place is a dumpster fire but it certainly isn’t a dead end... spirits biggest base is lauderdale... do you really think they’ll open up another base 150 miles away?? I don’t know but I doubt it

I’d agree that ORD might be a dead end
