It really doesn’t matter what’s being said now that Hasn’t been said already in previous posts. As soon as F9 starts canceling more and more flights daily because of their own staffing issues the pilots will be the first to blame. Trust me, Indigo already has the lawyers drafting up the TRO and an injunction on the pilot group and ALPA. It’s just another dirty, nasty tool in their contract negotistions tool belt.

I appreciate the esprit de corps attitude of some posters on this subject but feel it is somewhat misguided. As some tough guys lambast others for picking up incentive laced pairings the same pilots can’t wait for the 28th of the month so they can joust for opentime. Think about it! All you opentime harlot’s are helping out far more for far less! I am a 70 credit kind of guy only because that is the minimum I can drop down to. I advocated the removal of LOA65 for more than a year while most have been silent, letting an orange lanyard do all the speaking for them. Why the sudden change of heart? Is it only a function of the NMB not meeting your timeline? My $.02 on the ridiculousness and hypocrisy of some. Take a good look in the mirror, you may not be the poster boy for our efforts either. Stay unified.

Hold on! No one here has said anything negative. Many assume by saying anything that it has to be negative. Not true at all. This is all positive talk. Heck Mco couldn’t sustain operations unless there weren’t out of base captains traveling there to stay in hotels to pick up this extra work. I’m sure vegas has 3-4 doing thier part everyday. Last thing we want to see is a trip not get covered. The flying must go on at all costs. We have to support The company and work together not against one another. All I’m saying is thanks for the hard work you all are putting in.

I have to agree with this. There has been a lot of division over picking up INC trips but no one bats an eye at picking up extra flying over their vacation at straight pay. If you’re trying to short staff the company there are much more effective ways, don’t be a hypocrite. I have yet to see or hear anything official from ALPA on this and I don’t expect to, just this thread alone is begging for a TRO. We’re letting petty BS divide the group. Keep status quo and let ALPA handle the negotiations. Close the thread.

Once the official decision from the NMB is handed down I might agree with you. But at the moment, we don’t know where we stand. There is very little we can do at this stage to help our cause but there’s a lot we can do to hurt it. We’ve played by the rules for 2 years now. Why jeopardize our efforts before we know the outcome.
