DENpilot for CHIEFpilot! So many pilots here talk out of both sides of their mouths that it's pathetic.

Did it by "accident" ok well we can just sit and wait until we get a faxed copy I guess.
Where doe sit state that the pink pages "must" remain in the book? As long as MCC has the pages they're not missing.

Might consider taking a pic with you IPad of the log book page for future reference. I know a few guys do that.

Does it have to say it anywhere? The flight logbook is a legal document and our only way for the PIC to determine the airplane's airworthiness. The book should be intact. If I saw a logbook with missing pages I would question it and have someone bring copies of the missing pages.

How can you verify you have an airworthy airplane if a page is missing from the last 8 day sign off? If you fly an airplane with a missing logbook page from that time period, I’d hate to have to explain it to the FAA. It’s your certificate.

When you review the logbook do you really look at every sequential page going back to the beginning of the month? No one does. You look back for the airworthiness and if there are any open write ups.

Actually a lot of us do look back, some MELs may be back more than eight days and we like to read the actual write ups. Regardless, whether you do or not is irrelevant. The logbook is a legal document. It should be intact.

Where does it say that? VOL 1? MCC Manual? I haven't found it anywhere.
Do you really look at every single sequential page? Pages have been pulled. This has been discussed in my recent RGS in July. Pages have been pulled to calm the hysteria on a particular plane.
