Vacancy is out for PHL. Starting with 24 crews. Looks like DEN went unscathed this time. They are pulling from all the other bases, with MCO losing the most flying.

About three-fifths of their “growth” in PHL is being staffed by displacements from other bases. Every time this place “grows” it comes a price to the quality of life in other bases (what little there is left). Every existing base in the system gets their hard lines cut down and the trips in the new base are always awful. Remember the first couple months in Vegas? Those first months make the current crap trips/lines look average.

The big news here is STILL only 10 net upgrades. This is not the growth you are looking for...

I think all the hype from the company about growth is smoke and mirrors just as much as the next guy, but is this a case of, if they cant hire, they cant upgrade? Honest question, I dont regularly run numbers on this kinda stuff.
