I thought we were getting 8 planes before year end.

But realistically, considering how much the Denver five or six help out, they really don't need to upgrade so many people. Those guys make sure everything gets covered.

Maybe. We will know in 2 weeks when the Union reports to us on the Company’s appetite for bargaining.

QRH’s keep showing up in Comply so I think they are being delivered. But park a spare in each of 5 bases, increase the line average to the contractually permitted 85 hours, and cancel vacations and you’ve significantly decreased the required pilot-to-plane ratio. It has worked for a while but they’re running out of options. Settle a contract to make hiring easier or sell aircraft delivery positions.

Don’t hold your breath on negotiations. If the company wanted a deal they could just as easily meet outside of mediation. They could even email proposals over to the NC. They don’t want a deal that doesn’t cement us at the bottom of the industry.

Then they get no deal. Simple as that.

Oh I’m not holding my breath. But I doubt the company would ever come to us outside of mediation even if they were offereing Delta+1. They know they need to appear to be negotiating in good faith with the NMB as their witness to support their defense in case the lawsuit goes to trial.
