9 months? Still no contact. Seems nearly mandatory to attend an event. Even had my app reviewed. Some outliers get invited without attending. Also kept mine updated regularly, and equal or greater qualified than lots of people I know that were invited after attending MTC.

There’s really just no reason not to attend a MTC or similar event for any airline you want to work for. The biggest & most important question you’ll get asked at the interview is “Why do you want to work for Frontier?” Going to a MTC event solidifies that answer to the hiring team. It takes minimal planning and effort to attend a half day meet & greet. Extremely low risk/high reward. And you’re right, lots of low time pilots get the invite after attending and skip the line a bit, as they should. My new hire class had more than a handful of pilots with less than 2,000 hours total time.

Anybody can fill out an app and hit submit. It doesn’t mean much. Just my 2 cents.

MTC is done for summer so I guess September/October for the next one?

Has anyone been hired with rATP below 1500 hours, outside of the flight school CFI programs?

You’re going to be in Denver for 2+ months potentially. You should bring your vehicle unless you have a really, really good reason not to. I drove 15 hours. Several classmates drove much further. Worth it.

Otherwise, there will be a ton of people in your class who brought a vehicle and will be happy to lend a ride. You will regret not having your vehicle the first day you are there. The plus side to that is you’ll get to make some new friends by constantly asking for rides to/from the training center, to the grocery store, etc.

It should be noted that the hotels DO have an airport shuttle, so that isn’t an issue.

I’ll be on of the ones who sadly can’t bring a car, on the furthest side of the country and have a lease lol. However, is there a typical method or Facebook group where new hires gather on to meet others in your class? We had something like it during my last initial and it really helped figure out cars and such.

There’s a F9 poolies group on Facebook but it’s not very active.

Generally speaking based on my experience, someone from the new hire class should create a GroupMe. You can post it on the F9 Poolies Facebook group once it’s set up.
