There’s really just no reason not to attend a MTC or similar event for any airline you want to work for. The biggest & most important question you’ll get asked at the interview is “Why do you want to work for Frontier?” Going to a MTC event solidifies that answer to the hiring team. It takes minimal planning and effort to attend a half day meet & greet. Extremely low risk/high reward. And you’re right, lots of low time pilots get the invite after attending and skip the line a bit, as they should. My new hire class had more than a handful of pilots with less than 2,000 hours total time.

Anybody can fill out an app and hit submit. It doesn’t mean much. Just my 2 cents.

Sure but when you’re flying 5 four day trips a month and can’t drop a trip makes it a little hard.

Sorry if it’s been posted above, but what’s the training footprint look like?

One other question is what is the training pay over at F9?

Thanks!

Training footprint is about two months. There is some time to get home after indoc/systems. Pay is $75x75hrs.

I ran into the same issue of not being able to drop and you know what, I just called out of the trip. Problem solved.

My career progression is worth it and yours is too.

Honestly that’s not too bad for training pay! Idk what majors pay for training but definitely a step up from regionals

Frontier recently raised first year pay and started providing hotels in training. It's a much better deal now than in the past that's for sure

So last month I got this email:

The Frontier Airlines Recruitment team has selected your application for review and you are one step closer to joining the Frontier family!

Please make sure your application is updated including flight hours and the addendum which asks:
"From your first flight hour to present, have you ever failed, or not satisfactorily completed, any of the following: check rides, stage checks, line checks, PCs, PTs, AQP or any other training event?"
But I had already answered that question No. Does this mean they are still looking for me to put something down? Or do I need to type n/a in the "If yes" text box instead of leaving it blank? A little confused about why they only mentioned that addendum question in the email. I guess I could come up with a sim or early syllabus flight I had to repeat, since they say "any other training event" but I thought this was only referring to check ride type training events?

Those who got that email, how soon until you heard back? Or are they waiting for me to build up a few more hours?

Thanks for any input!
