Just to be clear. Not everyone that wanted a cola got one for every cola so far. For both reasons (training and availability) every time including July. Supplemental cola (round 2) has only been available for reserves, every time. The fact there was no round 2 in July means there’s the correct number of reserves in every domicile for July. That’s all it means. Looks like they did rerun cola 1 for July and added several pilots in most domiciles reducing the number of reserves. Helping to avoid a supplemental cola 2 in July. It’s looking like limited or no cola for august. I agree, that’s a good thing.

I heard that CPs were saying 319s going away too. You would think the leases would be rock bottom right now, but I guess with deliveries maybe they just want to lower fuel costs by going all neo.

To be clear though, the scientists have been wrong about a lot concerning the coronavirus. At first they said it was nothing to be concerned about. Then eventually over reacted saying it was much worse than has proven to be the case. Specifically wrong about the mortality rate and danger of dying from this disease.

I was in the April 1st class that got canned. Had an HR rep reach out last week basically tell me “nothing new, no new classes, just keeping in touch and letting you know you’re the first class to come back..” I will say this, the communication has been great.

Seeing that others have been contacted by hiring and I havent concerns me. I was hired in Feb and offered the April class but couldnt make that due to my military retirement, missing the April start date by 2 weeks, so I took the May class. I withdrew my retirement and can resubmit when needed when training starts again. My concern though is will I get bumped to the 2nd class based on the pre-covid class rosters or can I get in the first available training class because I was given the CJO with the inital class of April? Is there a seniority for training slots based on when the CJO was given? I am worried that if I dont make the cut for the first training class back, it could be 6 months more before another class gets trained! I had been planning to call in and just let my desire be know.
