I’ve got to agree with you here. There is no possible way that we are hiring anywhere close to 600 pilots in 2021. I will honestly consider it a win if it’s closer to 100. I, too, am much more optimistic about our future as a whole, but reality has to step in at some point as well.

In true pilot fashion, watch this. No more getting paid to stay home? You call that good news? We are gonna be short staffed and all have to fly 90 hours a month all summer. We are lways getting screwed.

Things will be bad for awhile. We're heading into a depression. Everyone's so focused on the virus and getting a vaccine with no regards to the economic damage that has been done. The hotel, bar, and entertainment industries have been decimated. Some states are making sure their restaurant industries are decimated also.
My favorite is after decimating the industries and killing off all the low paying jobs, the next step is to raise minimum wage to $15 per hour so the jobs don't come back.
We're well past the point of fast recovery. It's going to take 5-10 years to come out of this.

That wouldn't hurt things too badly. We only have four of them left in the fleet and, according to the active fleet data sheet, are scheduled for lease return in December of '21 anyway. That's not to say that they wouldn't renew the lease, but I'm sure their decision about them is most likely already decided.
