Hard to believe we have missed an entire contract cycle.
At this point, I would rather wait out and see what other carriers are asking... Right now, Looking like a top end NB CA rate of aboutttttttt 425ish? not bad.

Let this be a lesson to everyone reading this, CALL YOUR REPS. SEND DARTS. Anything without a YEARLY MRA is a NO VOTE.

That's not how MRA works. It’s a one and done deal. After that it’s cola based on forecast inflation. Reason being your not tying yourself to language that could result in a pay cut if the listed pier group has a carrier or two taking concessions.

I have no idea how it works, I dont know how any of this works. But I want 3-4 years of snap up/MRA. I believe Alaska got 2 years in their previous one.

That’s correct. Looks like the second came through a loa. Might have been tied to going pbs or merger? After that (9/26) nobody will have MRA. All cola. Two separate concepts. They’re not interchangeable.
I guess you could go 4% or MRA whichever is higher but nobody has that in perpetuity.

Don't know. SupposeSupposedly there have been talks outside of mediation.

I don't recall us having any future dates scheduled with the mediator? Anyone know?

Last email said the next session was April 7-9. I guess we will hear something next week sometime.

Maybe just a rumor that is going around since there is no comms yet, but I heard apparently we didn't even have a mediation session and we are on ice from the mediator until we get our union ducks in a row and stop the infighting?? Can anyone verify this? This is complete BS if true.
