It hasn’t been voted in yet, maybe the voting majority agrees with you.

That alpa link mentioned 87% voted in favor with 94% casting votes. Just flew with a former pilot. Work rules sounded terrible. Something like a 1-6.5 tafb, Sub 70 guarantee, regularly extended for nothing due to the tafb and no incentive, ect ect… Might have split the baby between rates rules?

Anyone see the new numbers for the United FA contract? top pay of like $100.13(in 2030) but top end DOS is $86... Which means now our first year FOs will make LESS than flight attendants. add on 50% of pay per hour for boarding and a line of 85-95hrs a month thats pretty standard in the FA world....

sheeeesh.

Just give Jimmy 30 days and I’m sure he will reward our hard work and dedication.

I did see the voting numbers the day following. The work rules must have been truly horrendous.

One thing you can say about UA CEO is that he's confident...

Patiently waiting for the negotiations update this week.. hopefully we knocked out some more TA’ed sections. Two airlines closed out ALPA agreements in the last month. Hopefully we are next.

I was told a month or so ago that the reason we were delayed for our meetings earlier this year were because our mediator was dealing with FDX as well and he needed to make extra room for them because they were close to an agreement. Which it checked out.

Hopefully we see something soon, there is definitely progress, albeit slow. But when time comes to get it done, it will get done in like 2-3 weeks.

With Delta opening and United about six months behind, this is the time for the Union to draw the line with management.

Either Management gets a deal done now, or the price goes up next cycle.

Hard to believe we have missed an entire contract cycle.

not hard to believe if you’re familiar with Indigo. This is exactly when they typically give a new contract. At the end of the cycle before the new one. Effectively always getting a discount on the labor rates.

market rate adjustment is your only chance and also something they’d never agree to. Vote with your feet and vote no on the ta that comes even if it’s a 1:1 of legacy rates because pay rates are going to change within 24 months and we will be behind another cycle every single cycle.
