It'll be contract 2030.
That seems kinda silly given upgrades are over three years.

Ask BL the next time you see him. He preaches to anyone that asks that they want pilots gone after they recoup their training costs.

How could that philosophy ever sustain the company? What is his reasoning?

You’ve clearly misunderstood him. He wants people to STAY a MINIMUM of 3 years. Saying he wants people gone is illogical. Can’t upgrade captains without FOs. And if you can’t upgrade captains, can’t grow an airline. Can’t grow an airline, it’s pretty much over. One of the reasons why Institutions keep asking BB about pilot attrition during investor calls. They understand this same principle. Pretty simple.

Why did he say in his video "I want to make this a destination airline"?

Once again, if someone says it on Airline Pilot Central, it must be true.

What concessions? It was the wrong message then and it's certainly the wrong message now.
