Predictions? Big-3 (even "evil AA") is killing it. Yes, using debt to expand, retrofit interiors, etc. Paying down debt also. Making profits

Q4 should tell us if the low cost model is indeed working or not. Airline-industry-wide, Q4 was rock solid.

Zacks is speaking positively of Frontier: https://www.zacks.com/stock/news/221...ings-estimates

Fingers crossed. Hopefully we do not hear about JAX Center, Ukraine, 737 Max delays, Argentina Peso crisis, or other stuff.

My ears will be especially tuned to "staffing" and pilot contract comments

United and AA are now forecasting losses for the next quarter.

Pretty quick turn from record setting profits to losses.

My guess is we squeaked out a small profit despite the predicted loss. On time performance was good and everything seemed to have gone well enough. Fuel costs seemed slightly better than predicted. Barry has just looked too happy lately and his email for last quarter was fairly upbeat.

Bonus Long shot prediction: If JB kills the merger deal on the 28th I would guess we see a merger announcement after the Q4 release.

Grounding ninety-some-odd aircraft for a month will do that.

Yup. Count your blessings, indeed.

Next aircraft grounding, airliner crash, recession/depression, etc.

today’s winners are tomorrow’s losers.

if you look to history, over decades, you find this is perfectly normal. Year after year, decade after decade, chicken little.
