Crew Planning said there would be a vacancy bid every month for the rest of the year. As they aggressively grow Orlando, they'll have to create a lot of vacancy bidding. So far only 36 positions have been awarded and they said they wanted between up to 100 crews by the end of the year. The current bid that's open is for 18 crews.

I was told to expect an interview in Aug/Sep. No green folders this time though. Definitely be watching the phone next week!

I was there and didn't recieve an date. However, I was told that to expect a call for a possible August interview date if a spot became available. Question: after my one-on-one, my interviewer asked some simple background question; training failures, arrest records etc. Did anyone else experience this? Needless to say I am beyond excited. Feel free to ask any questions.

So again, yes, others get that line of questioning often.

Ya I got that stuff. I explained my checkride failure, and owned up. Now I'm in class. Its no big deal. Everyone can make a mistake, but not everyone learns the needed lesson. I told them how I learned that lesson.
