My understanding is that, while TPIC is a very good thing, published mins are the only hard and fast requirement.

And Sulk - I stopped counting the years after 35. 18 to be drafted. 21 to drink. 23 for ATP. 35 to run for President of The US... All downhill from there 😉

I wouldn't complain! Denver and the Rockies would be hard to pass up though. Oh well, there's always northern NH, and family in Boston.

Upgrade should be happening in December for me, provided the run a class. If not soon thereafter. If I don't get a call from Blue or F9 in the near future I'm not in a bad place.

You're right, all down hill, except that little spark of happiness at 65, when we transition from the lofty position of professional pilot extraordinaire to the even more respectable vocation of Walmart greeter.

Are they wanting 121 TPIC or does 135 TPIC work? I see their website just says 500 PIC, it doesn't mention TPIC. Is there any way to get hired without going to a job fair? Thanks!

Unless they have changed something, any PIC counts. Even Flight Instructing PIC for example.

Not sure about crash pads, but some F9 people posted something in the DEN crew room about rooms for rent in their house. The flier said starting at $29/night. I don't think it had transportation, but close enough to airport for a cheap UBER ride. I can PM you their contact info after I check in for a trip Sunday morning, if you'd like.
