On December 17th, 7 out of 17 were hired. I thought there were a lot of great people there. I couldn't believe they only hired seven of us.

Were those the only interview dates, or were there interviews on the 15th as well?

Today's Vacancy bid was awarded, and the junior captain has 2 years and 1 month of seniority. Pretty amazing.

Both Orlando and Chicago captain spots have gone to people with well under 3 years of seniority

There has been talk of one for a year or so, but I don't know of anyone having to sign one.

I had heard they would threaten one in the interview, and anyone who asked about it got a big red mark. So if anyone out there interviews soon, DON'T ASK ABOUT A TRAINING CONTRACT. But we never signed anything.

A jumpseating CA yesterday said he had heard new guys are being told 1 year upgrades. I doubt it, but it's good people are confident with the growth.

One year upgrade, huh? That seems a bit optimistic to me. Although we sure do have a lot of senior FOs who bypass upgrade. At least 100 FOs have bypassed upgrade.

I think the upgrade will continue to be around the 2 year mark for the foreseeable future.
