DELTA, UAL, AA, even SWA on their 737s ake a look at their 3rd year CA rates and take a look At F9/NKS. Do the math, don't forget to throw in DC plan and profit sharing

You said Spirit and the A-320. Not any 737.
I asked what you meant by your piers.

You said any US airline flying the A-320.

What airline flying the A-320 pays 50% more than Spirit?
What does it matter? It's a small narrow body. 737/A-320. Same thing.

And I already told you.

Delta

American

United

Purely informal, to each their own, QOL is more important than money for some, money is for others.
All from APC pay rates:

year: Spirit/UAL/%

FO
1: $38/$79/48%
2:$72/$122/59%
3: $78/$142/54%
4: $84/$146/57%
5:$90/$149/60%

CA
4: $131/$231/56%
5: $136/$233/58%
6: $142/$235/60%
7: $147/$237/62%
8: $151/$238/63%

Top out year 15 for spirit, year 12 for UAL
FO: $109/$168/65%
CA: $185/$246/75%

*This doesn't include the upcoming pay raises for United

This also doesn't reflect the fact that there are captains at spirit and F9 that have only been on property for 2-3 years. So pay rates come close to evening out. It also doesn't reflect that upgrade times at the big 3 are coming down and already have significantly at AA and DAL with UAL not far behind given current projections.

Those rates also don't show United's 16% DC plan and the 13% bonus they received this year. Don't forget the per diem difference as well. When you factor those in Spirit pays less then half of what United does. Just saying. I am all for QOL but when your peers are toasting you that badly in pay it makes it difficult to claim you have better QOL. Money is a part of QOL, not just days off.

The best thing you can do is leave then. Go be a 3yr captain at any one of those places mentioned.

Looking at the lines for March, it would appear that there is no advantage to becoming relatively senior at Frontier.

The one thing we've always had here was good schedules. Those days are apparently over. They just keep getting worse and worse.

It shows the increase for 2016, but does not reflect the future raises for 2017 and 2018
