Frontier Hiring.

I would to say thank you to all of the Frontier crew members for their contributions to the threads on APC. This type of information really does help with those pilots like myself who aspire to work for such companies as Frontier! I do have a quick question for those who have applied and interviewed with the company...where is the best place to find contact information for the companies you all used for your interview preparation. I did an internet search and found a lot of commercial companies that seemed a bit too flashy. I was hoping for some solid recommendations of places to go. Thank you again for the time you all have taken to contribute to your fellow pilots!

Ok, I scanned/read all 48 pages! Great information - thank you everyone, and congrats to those who've gotten interviews and class dates.
Question - does an internal rec necessarily mean a silver bullet? Or is a silver bullet an extra powerful internal rec?

Once you got the interview, YOU have to perform on the interview and not rely on your Silver Bullet's rec.
Good luck.

I see, thanks. I don't have one, but was curious. I did email my resume and cover late last night!!!. May I ask how a regular internal rec works? Would I just let my contact know I've submitted my stuff? I appreciate the guidance. I don't want to bother him too much until I've got my ducks in a row.

To any of the current Frontier folks, are there any good ideas you may have to get noticed out of the pack? See, the problem is, I work corporate in a small-ish Midwest market. As such, the potential for meeting a Frontiersman or Frontierswoman that could vouch for me is slim to nil, which is a real shame. I'd vouch for me in a heartbeat! While I may not have 121 experience, I'm youthful-minded and bodied enough to learn the minutia rather quickly.
I will admit, I attempted a cover letter and resume that was a bit more colorful and creative than I typically would when applying for a long-term career opportunity. My hope, of course, is that the Frontier culture may find some humor in the slight skew from normal. Anybody have any thoughts on the personnel that receive pilot packets? Sense of humor, fun loving people?
Thank you to all who have contributed to this thread. I have read over nearly every page to find any and all insight I can into Frontier, and it sounds like things are really looking great for the future. Any outside thoughts or insights are so greatly appreciated, either via public or PM. Again, thank you!

The folks involved in hiring know that applicants are putting on a show. If your day one interview involves underpants and party streamers you will definitely fit in on an overnight but you will have a hard time getting past the bean counters.
I hope your originality prevails. This entire process, industry wide, takes itself way too seriously.
