I bet half of my new hire class would go to PHL if it opened.

They are placing FO's in Denver like crazy from new hire classes.
I'm not sure how many they need, but I bet they will be happy to place them somewhere else, lol Looks like 20 a month are being placed in Denver.
Which brings up another question. How does it work out that we hire 25 to 30 guys a month and don't have more upgrades going on. Last VSA I saw was 1 Denver Captain. Denver is supposed to be senior, but they are dropping FO's in there like stocking a fishing pond.
Maybe preparing for a base opening, who knows.
That's a lot of guys pouring in here!

I heard thru the grapevine that the latest vacancy was due to some issue with a previously awarded captain position.

As far as all the F/Os going to DEN, it does seem like they are just stocking them up there in anticipation of opening a new base at some point. I also wonder why there aren't more upgrades. At this rate, there is no way new hires will have a 2-year upgrade.

My guess is they are stocking up on FO's some for attrition, some for a new base, and some now so when they want to upgrade later in the year when the planes start coming fast they will have the space in the sim. Upgrades take less time then a new hire to train as well.

TED and Song didn't. I'm not sure the mix model will work.

They are way to confusing and hard to enforce when you have 5 types boarding...
