The hiring slowdown maybe due to a backup on IOE. Some guys are waiting 6+ weeks for IOE right now.

I had to wait exactly a month. I think those in the classes after me might have a few who will wait longer.

Taking a month or two off definitely isn't a "bad" thing right now....I just didn't see it coming!

All things considered with regard to competitive qualifications, would having an internal recommendation help someone get a call if they hadn't attended a job fair?

Yes. Internal recommendations are highly weighted

It isn't live for Southwest until May 9. You can call or list at the gate until then.

They sold all our NEO slots for a profit. We will get a great deal on 330s if we agree to fly them at current rates.

I heard it was 350's that Delta was going to cancel, but only if we drop this negotiation silliness and agree to renew our current contract for another 10 years.
