Lufthansa, which was the first airline to operate the A320neo and took delivery of five of the jets in 2016, had said at the end of December that it expected 10 of the medium-haul planes this year.”

No. The company will drag this out and fight as much as they can. It does look like Airbus is having delivery delays on NEOs, so I'm guessing that's the reason for the hiring pause.

The CFM neo's are becoming very desirable. We got lucky.
