Right. My understanding is that the 5 year agreement for AA starts rolling off next year. I don’t know about the DL birds.

I saw something about 2 2-year automatic extensions in the Compass forum. I would have a tough time believing there isn’t a way out of that for the code-shares.

The major can buy their way out. Rarely, do they bust a contract unless the regional is not meeting the terms of the contract.

More than likely, the major is going to let the CPA run to close to termination and then terminate. Automatic extensions are not automatic if the major notifies it is terminating.

I would not expect AAL to extend. DAL’s CEO was pretty clear who he thinks will be left and who wouldn’t be.

Delta can be pretty ruthless. If they want GoJet gone they’ll have it.

Wow. I’m shocked Delta would sign something that long. But the truth will never know.. TSA is not a public company...

Lolololololololol. Private company = no public financial reports.

I think we will know soon about United. I was expecting the news would come today or tomorrow. Since most CPA’s have a 90 day notice requirement and the Ejets start flying routes on June 1st, the news will come no later than March 1st on the outside.

Mesa also has 25 CRJ700’s that United could pull. Nothing says it’ll be GoJet.
